What’s happening at The Hub?

Please remember while many people love fireworks, loud bangs and flashing lights can set off a myriad of mental health issues so do spare a thought for your neighbours and furry friends.

A REQUEST… Anyone good with building ponds? Thanks to Aviva we also have funding to create a wildlife pond with a raised edge allowing access for wheelchairs. Willing hands needed please– we’ll supply refreshments, tools and laughter! Call, message, pop in to find out more.

The Hub is a centre with mental health prevention and recovery at heart. We work with all members of our community including Ex-Armed Forces, Blue Light Services and families. To find our more pop in for a brew, reconnect your senses, make friends and try new skills in a relaxing environment using practical outdoor tasks such as gardening, woodwork and nature crafts. We continue to seek donations of time, money and materials provided by local businesses and members of the wider community. If you’re upgrading hand tools and your old ones have a good bit of life left, please think about us. We need spades, forks, loppers, secateurs, trowels and hand forks for our volunteers.
